Today, I'm giving you an assignment. I have learned tons from Just So Scrappy. I challenge you to download a brag book page you like and decide... this is big here: DECIDE why you like it. Is it the clutter around the frames, the prints, the cute elements? You see, when you learn what you like about other's work you begin to scrap your own pages with more ease. Learn what YOU like. What catches your eye? And Just So Scrappy always has a great assortment... Do you like to see one photo on a page with a lot of journaling? How much journaling room do you want? Would you rather see several photos per page? A mix of both styles? Deep drop shadows or shallow drop shadows? Less busy? More busy? Plus, even if you're making a 12x12 page instead of a 5x7" brag book page, you can look at Just So Scrappy brag book page layouts for ideas... flowers, leaves, rick rack, clutter, color combinations.... clutter to the side, below pics, above... And I hope that gives you an idea why I've chosen to highlight Just So Scrappy every week. FANTASTIC RESOURCE...even if the freebie is a one file quick page. Besides, you could seriously make your own little brag books with just their freebies. AWESOME. (Hint: put 2 together on a 12x12 background paper for a large page).
